For the Fish

  • 1 pound Cod Fillet Cut into 8-10 pieces, about 1.5 to 2 inches wide.
  • 2 Large Eggs Lightly beaten.
  • 1 cup Panko Bread Crumbs Use unseasoned for better flavor control.
  • 1.5 teaspoon Smoked Paprika Adds color and flavor.
  • ¾ teaspoon Garlic Powder Not garlic salt.
  • ¾ teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
  • ¾ teaspoon Italian Herbs A blend of dried herbs.
  • 2 teaspoons Oil For spraying/brushing.

For Serving

  • Your Favorite Dipping Sauce Tartar sauce, lemon-herb aioli, or sriracha mayo.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your air fryer according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Prepare the cod by patting it dry and cutting it into pieces. Set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs. In another bowl, mix the panko, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and Italian herbs.
  • Dip each piece of cod into the eggs, then coat it with the panko mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  • Lightly spray or brush the air fryer basket with oil. Place the breaded cod pieces in the basket in a single layer.
  • Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Ensure the cod is thoroughly thawed and dried if using frozen fillets. Adjust seasonings as per your taste.
