Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, diced
  • 2 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
  • Reserved pasta water as needed

Instructions
 

  • Season diced chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook chicken until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  • Add honey and stir to combine.
  • Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Cook pasta according to package instructions, reserving ½ cup of pasta water.
  • Toss cooked pasta with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed to thin.
  • Return chicken to the pan and stir to coat evenly.
  • Serve hot.

Notes

  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to your spice preference.
  • Use pasta water to adjust sauce consistency.
  • Substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
