- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, diced
- 2 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 2 tablespoon honey
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
- Reserved pasta water as needed
Season diced chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook chicken until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
Add honey and stir to combine.
Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Cook pasta according to package instructions, reserving ½ cup of pasta water.
Toss cooked pasta with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed to thin.
Return chicken to the pan and stir to coat evenly.
Serve hot.
