For the Cake

  • 42 ounces cherry pie filling two 21-ounce cans
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 15.25 ounces box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted

For the Milk

  • ½ cup whole milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a baking dish, spread the cherry pie filling evenly.
  • Add the vanilla extract over the cherry filling.
  • Sprinkle the yellow cake mix over the cherry filling evenly.
  • Pour the melted butter and whole milk over the cake mix.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
