  • 2 cups blueberries fresh or frozen (thawed)
  • 1 cup about 6 lemons freshly squeezed lemon juice, more to taste
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar more to taste

Instructions
 

  • Blend blueberries with 1 cup water until smooth.
  • Strain the mixture to remove solids.
  • In a pitcher, combine blueberry puree, remaining water, lemon juice, and sugar.
  • Stir well until sugar dissolves.
  • Adjust sweetness or tartness to taste.
  • Serve chilled over ice.

Notes

  • Use frozen blueberries if fresh ones are not available.
