Description

A quick and flavorful dish featuring crispy chicken coated in a sweet and spicy chili sauce.


Ingredients

  • Chicken Breast: 1.5 to 2 pounds of boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Sweet Chili Sauce: 1 cup
  • Soy Sauce: 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
  • Ginger: 1 tablespoon, minced
  • Vegetable Oil: 2 tablespoons
  • Cornstarch: 1/4 cup
  • Salt and Pepper: To taste
  • Green Onions: 2, sliced
  • Sesame Seeds: 1 tablespoon
  • Rice or Noodles: For serving

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Coat the chicken evenly with cornstarch.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the chicken until golden and crispy, about 5-6 minutes per side.
  5. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  6. In the same pan, sauté garlic and ginger for 1 minute.
  7. Add sweet chili sauce and soy sauce, stirring to combine.
  8. Return the chicken to the pan and toss to coat evenly.
  9. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
  10. Serve hot with rice or noodles.
