Description
A spicy and sweet Cajun honey butter chicken with creamy pasta.
Ingredients

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz fettuccine (or pasta of choice)
- Reserved pasta water (as needed)
Instructions
- Season diced chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook chicken until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add honey and stir to combine.
- Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Cook pasta according to package instructions, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- Toss cooked pasta with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed to thin.
- Return chicken to the pan and stir to coat evenly.
- Serve hot.

- Adjust Cajun seasoning to your spice preference.
- Use pasta water to adjust sauce consistency.
- Substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
