Ingredients

- 3 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup warm milk (about 110°F)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs, at room temperature
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp lemon zest (optional)
- 1 cup raspberry preserves or jam
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- 1-2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp milk or cream
Instructions
- Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
- Add warm milk, softened butter, eggs, vanilla, and lemon zest. Knead until smooth.
- Let the dough rise until doubled in size.
- Mix raspberry preserves with cornstarch and water. Cook until thickened.
- Roll out the dough, spread the raspberry filling, and roll into a log.
- Place in a loaf pan and let rise again.
- Bake at 350°F until golden brown.
- Brush with melted butter and optionally drizzle with glaze.

- Use room temperature ingredients for better dough consistency.
- Adjust sugar based on the sweetness of your jam.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for best results.
