  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix cake mix, egg, melted butter, pumpkin puree, and vanilla for the base.
  3. Press into a greased baking dish.
  4. Beat cream cheese, eggs, vanilla, pumpkin puree, melted butter, and spices for the filling.
  5. Add powdered sugar and mix until smooth.
  6. Pour filling over the cake base.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
  8. Let cool.
  9. Beat cream cheese, butter, brown sugar, powdered sugar, and vanilla for frosting.
  10. Spread frosting over cooled cake.
