- 1 pound ground beef (or ground turkey)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha (or more, to taste)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, egg, salt, pepper, and brown sugar. Mix well.
- Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until fully cooked.
- While meatballs bake, mix mayonnaise, Sriracha, lemon juice, and soy sauce in a small bowl.
- Garnish meatballs with sesame seeds and green onions if desired. Serve with spicy mayo dip.
Notes
- For crispier meatballs, broil for 2-3 minutes after baking.
- Adjust Sriracha for desired spice level.
- Use ground turkey for a leaner option.
