- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 (15 oz) can pumpkin purée
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Whipped cream (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter in a bowl until combined. Press firmly into the baking dish.
- Bake the crust for 10 minutes. Remove and let cool slightly.
- In a separate bowl, whisk pumpkin purée, 3/4 cup sugar, eggs, evaporated milk, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, and salt until smooth.
- Pour the filling over the crust and bake for 35-40 minutes until set.
- Let cool completely before slicing. Top with whipped cream if desired.
Notes
- Use pure pumpkin purée, not pumpkin pie filling.
- Bars firm up as they cool.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
