  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt butter and chocolate together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and whisk in sugar, cocoa powder, eggs, vanilla, and salt until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into the pre-baked pie crust.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is slightly jiggly.
  6. Let cool before serving.
