- 3 overripe mashed bananas
- 4 tablespoon melted vegan butter
- ¾ cup maple syrup
- 1 cup unsweetened almond or oat milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ cup regular or gluten free all purpose flour
- 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
- 4 tablespoon melted vegan butter (for cinnamon swirl)
- ⅓ cup light brown sugar (for cinnamon swirl)
- 2 tablespoon cinnamon (for cinnamon swirl)
- ¾ cup powdered sugar (for frosting)
- 2 tablespoon melted vegan butter (for frosting)
- 2 oz softened vegan cream cheese (for frosting)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted vegan butter, maple syrup, almond milk, and vanilla extract.
- Add baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, flour, and oats. Stir until combined.
- Pour half the batter into the loaf pan.
- Mix melted vegan butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon for the swirl. Spread half over the batter.
- Add the remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon swirl mixture.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool the bread before frosting.
- For the frosting, mix powdered sugar, melted vegan butter, and softened cream cheese. Spread over the cooled bread.
- Serve and enjoy.

- Use overripe bananas for the best flavor.
- Check for doneness with a toothpick before removing from the oven.
- Let the bread cool completely before frosting to prevent melting.
