- 4 cups pure pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
- Spread the pumpkin mixture evenly in a baking dish.
- In another bowl, combine oats, flour, melted butter, pecans, granulated sugar, and cinnamon.
- Sprinkle the oat mixture over the pumpkin filling.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until the topping is golden and crisp.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling.
- Adjust spices to your taste.
- Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
