  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted (for topping)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk melted butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and buttermilk.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed. Pour into the loaf pan.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Mix sugar and cinnamon for the topping. Brush melted butter over the warm bread and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mix on top.
  7. Let cool before slicing.
