A festive and crunchy granola flavored with warm Christmas spices, perfect for holiday mornings or gifting.
Ingredients

- 5 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp water
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 1/2 cups (180g) old-fashioned rolled oats (jumbo oats)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/8 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp orange zest
- 6 tbsp whole almonds
- 4 tbsp sweet dried cranberries (optional)
- 4 tbsp roasted pistachio nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix maple syrup, water, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and salt.
- In a large bowl, combine oats, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and orange zest.
- Pour the syrup mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until evenly coated.
- Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet in an even layer.
- Bake for 20 minutes, then stir in almonds.
- Bake for another 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool completely before adding cranberries and pistachios (if using).
- Store in an airtight container.
Notes
- For extra crunch, bake the granola a few minutes longer.
- Adjust spices to your taste.
- Add other dried fruits or nuts if preferred.
