- 1 lb button mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs or panko
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Clean and slice mushrooms.
- Mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Dip mushrooms in beaten eggs, then coat with flour mixture.
- Roll mushrooms in breadcrumbs or panko.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry mushrooms until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels.
- For the ranch dip, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, dill, chives, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Serve fried mushrooms with ranch dip.

- Do not overcrowd the pan when frying.
