Description

A creamy and cheesy corn dish perfect for Christmas Eve celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 2 cups corn kernels, frozen, canned, or roasted
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • kosher salt, to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley leaves, chopped


Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add cream cheese and milk, stirring until smooth.
  4. Mix in corn, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and let it melt.
  7. Garnish with parsley before serving.
