Description

A hearty and flavorful casserole combining shredded chicken, crispy bacon, ranch seasoning, and tater tots.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of finely chopped onion
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) of condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 2 cups of shredded Colby-Monterey Jack cheese blend (approximately 8 ounces)
  • 1 package (1 ounce) of ranch dressing and seasoning mix
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • 3 cups of shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 bag (32 ounces) of frozen Ore-Ida™ Tater Tots™
  • 1/2 cup of chopped cooked bacon
  • 1/2 cup of chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup of thinly sliced green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, cheese, ranch seasoning, and black pepper.
  4. Stir in shredded chicken, cooked onion, bacon, and tomatoes.
  5. Spread mixture evenly in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  6. Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer on top.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Garnish with green onions before serving.
