Description

A delicious turkey melt sandwich with cheddar cheese and bacon on sourdough bread.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • 4 ounces turkey breast
  • 2 slices cheddar cheese
  • 2 slices cooked bacon
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread mayonnaise and Dijon mustard on one side of each sourdough slice.
  3. Layer turkey, cheddar cheese, and bacon on one slice.
  4. Top with the other slice, buttered side facing out.
  5. Place sandwich in skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side.
  6. Serve warm.
