Delicious apple brownies with a sweet maple glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped apples (peeled and cored)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 12 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan.
  2. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Fold in the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  5. Add chopped apples, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir well.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 25–30 minutes.
  7. Cool brownies completely before glazing.
  8. For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar, maple syrup, and milk until smooth.
  9. Drizzle glaze over brownies. Let it set before serving.
