- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped apples (peeled and cored)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1–2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan.
- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- In another bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Fold in the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
- Add chopped apples, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir well.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 25–30 minutes.
- Cool brownies completely before glazing.
- For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar, maple syrup, and milk until smooth.
- Drizzle glaze over brownies. Let it set before serving.
Notes
- Use firm apples like Honeycrisp or Granny Smith.
- Adjust milk in glaze for desired consistency.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
