4th of July Trifle: A Red, White, and Blue Showstopper

Description

A festive, no-bake trifle layered with angel food cake, creamy pudding, whipped topping, and fresh red and blue berries. Perfect for Independence Day parties!


Ingredients

  • 6.8 oz instant white chocolate pudding mix (2 x 3.4 oz boxes)
  • 4 cups cold whole milk
  • 14 oz angel food cake, cubed
  • 16 oz whipped topping (2 x 8 oz containers), thawed
  • 32 oz fresh strawberries, sliced and dried
  • 18 oz fresh blueberries, washed and dried

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk pudding mix and cold milk for 2 minutes. Let sit 5 minutes.

  • In a trifle dish, layer half the angel food cake cubes.

  • Spread half the pudding over the cake.

  • Add a layer of half the strawberries and blueberries.

  • Spread half the whipped topping over the berries.

  • Repeat all layers once more.

  • Decorate the top with whole berries and mint leaves.

  • Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
